Campus Ministry

In the Dominican Tradition, St. Catharine College is committed to the pursuit of truth. The college believes in the spiritual, academic, cultural, and social elements of the college community. The Campus Minister attempts to instill Christian values, and to develop a sense of responsibility for themselves, their community, and a just society.

St. Catharine College believes in the integration of the spiritual, academic, cultural, and social elements of the College Community. The Campus Ministry program provides opportunities for students to grow in their own faith experience and in the relationship of that experience to their daily lives and dreams. The Campus Ministry Office sponsors Mass Celebrations, non-denominational devotional services, retreats, scripture study, current events discussions, and outreach activities. Special outreach activities in the past have included Habitat for Humanity, Make a Difference Day, National Act of Kindness Week, the International Heifer Project (A self-help international agricultural program), Earth Day, food and clothing drives, and other projects. Students are encouraged to take a leadership role in identifying and developing activities on campus and in the community at large.

St. Catharine College Campus Ministry Program strives to enhance the academic program. In the Dominican tradition St. Catharine College is committed to the pursuit of truth. The campus ministry program provides students with opportunities to grow spiritually, academically, culturally and to develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and a just society.
