St. Catharine College baseball has a rich tradition in providing student-athletes an environment to grow academically as well as athletically. On the field the Patriots have flourished, tallying 258 wins over the last seven years, an average of 37 wins a year.

The 2009 season will begin a new ERA of Patriot Athletics, as SCC will be in the NAIA and Mid-South Conference.

The Patriot Nine have been ranked for nine straight years in national baseball polls; reaching as high as 3rd in 2004 and 4th in 2008.  Four SCC players have been drafted or signed professional contracts since 2000 and six Patriot alumni have also been selected by professional organizations.
