STAR Orientation/Registration
The STAR Orientation Registration offers two one-day programs in March and April and three two-day overnight programs in June, July and August. The STAR programs introduce students to St. Catharine College and provide to our new students all the resources available to help you be successful. You will have opportunity to meet fellow students, advisors, professors, and key college representatives. STAR also provides information about opportunities for student involvement -- such as clubs, organizations, Student Senate, Campus Ministry, Residence Life and many others. Best of all, our Summer Orientation Staff (SOS) will be guiding you all the way!!
In 2013, we will offer five STAR sessions: March 23, April 19, June 21 & 22, July 16 & 17, and August 1 & 2. See below for registration information.
ONE DAY SESSIONS: student check-in takes place from 8:30am-9:00am. The program will begin promptly at 9:00am. There are many fun activities and information sessions throughout the day. Students will have lunch and then advising and official registration will begin around 1:30 pm.
TWO DAY SESSIONS:
On Day 1, student check-in takes place from 1pm-1:45pm. The program will begin promptly at 1:45pm. There are many fun activities and information sessions throughout the day.
On Day 2, students will receive the academic basics and scheduling information before meeting with their academic advisors and officially register for classes.

What you will need --
- to be officially accepted to SCC
- you must RSVP by the deadline for the date you would like to attend
- submit Official transcripts from graduating high school or GED with scores to the Office of Admissions prior to RSVPing for a STAR date.
- submit ACT or COMPASS scores must be submitted to the Admissions Office PRIOR to the selected STAR date
- Driver's license

STAR Orientation fee: $50 in advance, $65 the day of the event

** All students must meet the requirements and submit their RSVP by the deadline date. If all processes are not followed then those students will NOT be able to register for classes. Ask an Admissions Counselor if you have any questions.**
