Admissions

Transfer Students

St. Catharine welcomes transfer students. Students applying as transfer students must submit the following information to the Admissions Office:
  • A completed application form and a non-refundable application fee.
  • Official high school transcript(s) showing the date of graduation or an official
GED report showing successful completion. (For exceptions, see below.)
  • An official transcript from all colleges attended prior to applying to St. Catharine.
  • A copy of the catalog containing course descriptions from previous colleges if requested by the Registrar.

In general, all course work submitted for transfer to St. Catharine must have been completed at an institution accredited as a degree granting institution by a regional accrediting commission at the time the work was completed. In addition, while grades of D may be generally transferable for credit, specific St. Catharine majors may require the grade of C in some or all courses.

At the discretion of the Admissions and Scholastic Standing Committee, a transfer student who was not in good standing at a previous institution at the time of application to St. Catharine may be accepted with specific academic conditions. Applicants in this situation should submit a request in writing for
consideration along with their application.
