Citing Sources

Good scholarship and academic honesty require giving credit to sources used in research. For most research papers at St. Catharine College, students are assigned to use either APA (American Psychological Association) or MLA (Modern Language Association) style.

Help formatting citations for a list of References (APA) or Works Cited (MLA) is available at KnightCite, a project of Hekman Library at Calvin College. Linked from the Cite Sources menu at the top of AQUINAS, KnightCite automatically formats references from data entered by the researcher.

For additional formatting guidelines, St. Catharine College students should refer to A Pocket Style Manual (5th ed.) by Diana Hacker or its companion website.
