Tutoring CenterEmpowering SCC Students to Thrive Academically
Providing St. Catharine students with assistance to succeed academically, the Tutoring Center develops student learning skills through tutoring, intensive study, and collaborative work, empowering students to become confident and responsible lifelong learners.
Staffed by trained, experienced faculty members who provide complementary tutorial assistance, the Center contains a variety of online support programs and evaluation tools, texts, computers, and software for students who may need a little extra help with their studies, particularly in mathematics and writing. Testing services, including CLEP testing, are also provided in the Tutoring Center.
Located in Bertrand Hall, room 10, the Tutoring Center provides academic assistance to all interested SCC students Monday-Friday 9:00-noon and 1:00-4:00. No appointment is necessary. Sr. Charlene Vogel, OP, Coordinator of the Center is assisted by Sr. Ann Frederick Leonard and Mrs. Jan Terrell, who also provide tutorial help.
